Operations Manager

Alexis Matus, BS, serves as Operations Manager at Asheville Neurology Specialists, where she oversees daily practice operations and supports the coordination of patient access and clinical services. She works closely with executive leadership, clinical providers, and department leads to improve workflows, strengthen communication, and support a positive patient experience.

Her responsibilities include patient access operations, process improvement, operational efficiency, and collaboration with the teams responsible for patient coordination and care delivery. Alexis plays an important role in connecting administrative and clinical operations, helping patients move efficiently from referral through ongoing neurological care.

With a background in coaching and team leadership, Alexis brings experience in collaboration, problem-solving, and team development to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and is committed to supporting both patients and the healthcare professionals who care for them.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time on mountain trails with her two dogs and exploring local restaurants, breweries, and wineries with friends and family.
