Our Physician's Assistants (PA-C)

Rebecca Dees McGowan, PA-C Rebecca has a B.A. in Biology from Hartwick College  in Oneonta, New York and in June of 1997, she earned her Physician Assistant certification at Bayley Seton Hospital Physician Assistant Program in Staten Island, NY.  She is certified with the NCCPA Board and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Smokey Mountain Physician Extenders.

Payal Soni-Patel, PA-C Payal has a B.A. in Biology and minor in Chemistry from University of Toledo in Ohio.   She also studied abroad with major course work taken in biochemistry.  She earned her M.S.B.S in Pharmacology in August 1999 and her M.S.B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2001 from the Medical College of Ohio.  She is certified with the NCCPA Board and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
