Welcome to Asheville Neurology Specialists, P.A.  It is our mission to provide quality neurological care in a friendly, compassionate environment.  It is our goal to meet the needs and expectations of our patients and referring physicians by maintaining a high level of expertise and offering innovative neurological care.    

Our neurologists provide consultative, diagnosis and treatment services at the request a referring physician.  We diagnosis and treat disorders of the nervous system including conditions such as Epilepsy/seizures, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Headaches and other diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles.  Our neurologists offer a unique team approach to patient care utilizing the extension of physician assistants who are available to diagnosis, treat, prescribe and answer questions.  We provide onsite diagnostic procedures and treatments which included EEG, EMG/NCS, Ultrasound, Baclofen pump monitoring, vagus nerve and deep brain stimulator analysis and programming, and Botox/Myobloc Therapy.

The neurologists also work very closely with our research coordinators and are committed to ongoing research studies which result in development of better knowledge, care and therapy in neurological medicines for our patients.         

We have a registered EEG technician on staff that possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in electrocephalogram.   Dr. Armstrong is board certified in Clinical Electrophysiology and is available to interpret the diagnostic test results onsite.  This facilitates effective, efficient response to proceed with a treatment plan based on results. 

Asheville Neurology Specialists is committed to maintaining a competent, friendly staff that is available to assist with questions, scheduling appointments, and billing.  The operational and day-to-day functions of the office are overseen by Carolyn Chamberlain, our Practice Administrator.
